The events below have been submitted by UIPO members because they may be of interest to our community. Their inclusion here does not indicate that UIPO has been involved in organizing them. See below for criteria and a link to the submission form.

In the interest of providing educational opportunities to UIPO members and those with similar interests, UIPO would like to offer a calendar of copyright education events. Events will be included based on the following criteria:

  • Events will include UIPO-hosted events as well as other approved, community-hosted events not affiliated with UIPO.

  • Events could be a wide variety of formats, including webinars, roundtables, seminars, classes, or conferences.

  • Online and in person events are welcome.

  • Because UIPO membership is for those who are “directly responsible for copyright information policy and education,” listed events should generally be focused on copyright and relevant to academic institutions, libraries, archives, or museums.

  • Preference will be given to events that are mission-aligned.

  • Submitted events will be reviewed by the Events Committee and posted to the calendar if they are aligned with the scope and mission of UIPO.
